Dr. Naderi's Basic as well as Advanced Botox, Dysport, Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane, or Radiesse courses are either "observational" or "hands on training" classes depending on your professional (i.e. Medical, Nursing, etc) license status.

You will be given a concise lecture of the important points to help your success.  Next you will observe Dr. Naderi inject model patients while giving you key points and pearls.  Finally you will be able to inject model patients while Dr. Naderi closely monitors and refines your Botox and filler injection technique.

This is a technique classThis is to make you a better injector.  This is not a class simply to give you a "certificate" for your wall! This class is taught by an expert Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon.  There are plenty of other classes in the United States and abroad that are taught by nurses or PA's or Family Doctors or Emergency Room Physicians that give you a "certificate" which has no true use or validity.

However, if you do take Dr. Naderi's class through Allergan or through Medicis (the companies that make Botox, Juvederm, Dysport, Restylane, Perlane), then you will receive a valid certificate from Allergan or Medicis indicating the satisfactory completion of your course and training as an injector. Please contact your Allergan or Medicis represantative and ask for a training class to be set up and coordinated with Dr. Naderi's office at (703-481-0002).

The Basic Botox (or Dysport) and/or injectable dermal filler course concentrates on the safe and reliable techniques of Botox, or Dysport, Restylane and/or Juvederm injection for the beginner injector.  Most often Dermatologists or non-plastic surgeons take this course with Dr. Naderi.  Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are also candidates for the Basic Botox and filler injection classes.  Family physicians and other types of non plastic surgeons also benefit from the basic injection course if they intend to offer aesthetic medicine treatment to their patients or start a medi-spa.

Safe and effective injection of Botox (or Dysport) to the glabella (frown lines), crows feet and forehead are taught.

Safe and effective Restylane and/or Juvderm Ultra injections to the smile lines (Nasolabial folds) are taught.

The Advanced level Botox, Dysport and dermal filler course is intended for physicians, surgeons, experienced botox and filler injectors who now want to fine tune and improve their injection skills in order to provide less painful injections with minimal bruising and swelling and down time.  More advanced injections such as Restylane to the Lip Vermillion border and lip philtral ridges are taught.  Juvederm to the red lip are taught.  Restylane to the tear troughs of the lower eyelids are taught for treatment of dark circles.  Juvederm to fine lines and acne scars and other areas of the face are discussed.  Non surgical rhinoplasty to the nose may be taught.  Botox to the upper lip and Dysport to the corners of the mouth are taught.  Juvederm Ultra Plus or Perlane to the cheeks for a liquid mid-face lift is taught.  Dysport to the Platysmal neck bands are taught as well as other advanced techniques for shaping the eyebrows with Botox such as a chemical brow lift. Injection of Restylane or Juvederm to the upper eyelid orbital socket rim is taught.

There are several possibilities:

  • Arrangements can be made for you to visit The Naderi Center for Cosmetic Surgery & Skin Care and undergo your Botox and filler injection training under Dr. Naderi's supervision in his practice
  • Arrangements can be made for Dr. Naderi to visit your practice, your state or your country to train you and/or your staff injectors.  Usually these situations are reserved for cases where multiple doctors or injectors are trained at the same time but individual one on one training is perfectly fine as well.  For example, Dr. Naderi may fly to Norway to teach his Botox and filler injection techniques to a group of European doctors.  For individual one on one training, it makes more sense for you to visit The Naderi Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Care in Washington DC.
  • Arrangements may be made through your own local Allergan or Medicis Rep. for a class to be held for you with Dr. Naderi.  You need to have or need to set up an account with Allergan or Medicis and need to coordinate your training with your own local sale's rep from Allergan or Medicis and ask them to set up a course with Dr. Naderi for you.  Dr. Naderi is a National Instructor for both Allergan and Medicis and he can travel to you or you can travel to him for instructions.

A:

Yes.  Absolutely!

Dr. Naderi is one of Allergan's national physician trainers for basic FDA "on label" Botox and Juvederm injection techniques.  Dr. Naderi can teach you the proper FDA on label injection techniques for Botox cosmetic &/or Juvederm Ultra XC through Allergan's training program.

Dr. Naderi is also one of Medicis' national physician trainers for Dysport and Restylane / Perlane injection training.

Your local Allergan Botox Rep, or Medicis Dysport rep, can contact Dr. Naderi and make arrangements.  You are required to open an Allergan or Medicis account and order at least one vial of Botox cosmetic and one box of Juvederm Ultra XC which you will have available at the injection class.  There are no other out of pocket training fees associated with this type of course and Allergan / Medicis cover Dr. Naderi's expenses.  However, you are responsible for your own travel fees if you are coming to the Washington DC area (Virginia / Maryland).

Off label use and more advanced techniques are not covered at this type of training.

For training at The Naderi Center:

  1. For Hands-on classes, you must have a valid Virginia or Maryland Professional License (Medical, Nursing, etc...)
  2. You do not need a license for purely observational and instructional classes.
  3. Training fees do not apply to training set up through Allergan or Medicis.  If the course is set up for you through the Allergan or Medicis national injection training programs then the class is FREE of charge to you. Please discuss this with your local Allergan or Medicis Sale's Rep to have Dr. Naderi as your instructor.  ***

For training at your location:

  1. Dr. Naderi can teach you without himself personally doing any injections if the training is outside of Virginia, Maryland, or Indiana.  Medico-legally, Dr. Naderi does not perform medical procedures outside of states where he holds a medical license:  Virginia, Maryland, Indiana (United States).
  2. Training can be arranged through Allergan or Medicis and in such cases, Dr. Naderi can show you and teach you his injection techniques as a National Instructor for Allergan (Botox/Juvederm) or Medicis (Dysport/Restylane/Perlane).

These are various courses and various cost structures for instruction outside of the Allergan or Medicis injection training:
